Tulach has two bedrooms: a double and a twin. The cosy living room benefits from an open fire, double aspect picture windows with wonderful views and plenty of tartan touches. There is 'freeview' satellite TV and a DVD, and you will find a good selection of DVDs and books with a Scottish theme. Free wifi access is also provided. There is also a small double sofabed and/or a single fold-out bed. On the side of the house there is a sunroom in which to enjoy a spring or summer drink and the kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. Outside, there is a large garden with a table and chairs for al-fresco dining, including barbeques. Children are very welcome - hopefully they will spot some red squirrels in the garden! Don't forget to use our specially prepared walking guide, with all directions starting from Tulach (picnic blanket, lunch bags and flask available in the house).
This property has accreditation of Visit Scotland's "Walkers Welcome" scheme and the "Cyclists Welcome" scheme.
n.b. In July and August bookings can be taken to start on a Saturday only.
Access: Please note that the slope up to the front door of the house is a bit steep and in wet weather can be difficult for anyone who is infirm. There is no disabled access. However, for most people, access should not present any difficulties. A car is strongly recommended, because the last section of the road up from Blair Atholl is fairly steep - although fit and adventurous types will cope without. Please note that the access road from Blair Atholl is a single track (with passing places).
